She co-wrote (with Erica Chenoweth) Why Civil Resistance Works: The Strategic Logic of Nonviolent Conflict\, which received the American Political Science Association’s award for the best book published in political science in 2012\, and the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order.
