Andrew Regalado

Andrew Regalado is a Senior Organizer with the Horizons Project, where he leads cross-sector initiatives that engage business leaders, labor unions, civic groups, veterans, and faith communities to strengthen the pro-democracy ecosystem. With a background in public policy, political strategy, and coalition-building, Andrew’s work focuses on bridging divides and building trust across movements to advance inclusive democratic action.

With a career shaped by public service, policy analysis, and political campaigns, Andrew advised high-profile leaders in U.S. Congress through moments of national crisis—including the aftermath of January 6th—and led grassroots programs across the country to unify communities across ideological and cultural divides. Andrew was recognized as a Next Generation Democracy Defender by the Kofi Annan Foundation & Athens Democracy Forum for his efforts in battleground states on election administration initiatives aimed at countering extremism and promoting voter confidence.

Andrew brings a holistic approach to organizing—one rooted in trust, adaptability, and a belief in the power of shared values to unite unlikely allies. He earned his B.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, where he now serves on Alumni Association Board of Directors and advises the Dean of the Maxwell School.
