Senior Organizer
Andrew Regalado is a Senior Organizer with the Horizons Project, where he leads cross-sector initiatives that engage business leaders, faith communities, lawyers, veterans & military families, labor unions, and civic organizations to strengthen civic trust and democratic resilience across the United States. His work focuses on fostering collaboration across ideological, cultural, and institutional lines, with a particular interest in how communities develop their own traditions of civic participation, leadership, and public responsibility.
With a background in public service, policy analysis, and political campaigns, Andrew has advised high-profile leaders in the U.S. Congress through moments of national crisis—including the aftermath of January 6th—and has led grassroots initiatives in battleground states focused on election administration, voter confidence, and strengthening public trust in democratic processes. He was recognized as a Next Generation Democracy Defender by the Kofi Annan Foundation and the Athens Democracy Forum for his work advancing civic resilience and countering political extremism.
Andrew brings a holistic approach to organizing centered on relationship-building, strategic coordination, and helping unlikely allies find shared purpose across difference. He earned his B.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, where he now serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors and advises the Dean of the Maxwell School.
